Visit Independence Hall where David Ben Gurion declared the establishment of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948; stop for a solemn moment near Tel Aviv's City Hall where three bullets led to the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in 1995. 

Adjacent to Tel Aviv is Old Jaffa, conquered by Pharaoh, the Crusaders and the invading army of Napoleon; where Jonah confronted a hungry whale and Saint Peter according to Acts 9, performed the miracle of the resurrection of Tabitha.
